MEET BRIE GOUMAZ
Brie is the epitome of a Bucketlist Bombshell! This inspiring #girlboss has put her dreams into motion and is now successfully livin’ that solopreneur life. She is the owner of Wild Goose Creatives, an online biz that provides digital marketing services to creative entrepreneurs.
Brie’s secret sauce is to help her clients through blog management, virtual assistant services, and Pinterest management.
The best part? She’s currently renovating a house on wheels so she can run her biz from an epic-suped up van while cruisin’ the country. Talk about #girlbossgoals!
We chatted with Brie about her journey to becoming a solopreneur, what her typical days look like, and her biggest pieces of advice for aspiring Bucketlist Bombshells!
What does a “day in the life” look like for you now that you’re running your online biz?
Every day is a bit different but usually, I wake up to do a bit of meditating and then head back to bed to cuddle with my dachshund. Then I slowly make breakfast and get ready for the day.
I love mornings and since I don’t have a real schedule I get to spend time with them with my partner Shawn which I absolutely love. I tend to spend a few hours at my coworking space with a thirty minute to hour-long lunch mixed in with one of my favorite other boss babes. After work, I head home and help Shawn finish up working on our home on wheels.
How has the BB Academy helped you on your girl boss journey?
Oh my goodness the courses inside the BB Academy started me out on a path I had only dreamed of being on! I have become exactly the person I always knew I could be and more. I own my own business which is supporting my partner and I in our Van Life Travels, I am doing things I only dreamt of doing (being featured on podcasts, joining masterminds, and creating courses) and I have grown so much as a person.
Being an entrepreneur has set me on this beautiful road to self discovery and it all began with the Bucketlist Bombshells.
What’s the most challenging part of runnin’ your online biz?
Keeping it all organized. Once you get closer to a full workload it becomes more imperative that you stay on top of your client work and have a somewhat organized schedule.
How do you stay inspired and motivated?
This is a tough one! It is so important to stay in the right mindset so you can keep hustling! I personally love meditating, yoga, and podcasts! Melyssa Griffin’s Pursuit with Purpose is one of my faves that focuses on passionate businesses.
What’s the best part about being your own girl boss?
Living in a state of flow. I naturally lead with a feminine energy, meaning I can’t force myself to do things exactly when they need to be done. I love doing things when I want and how I want. When you are your own boss, you get to have control over this.
Fave travel destination to work from?
Preferably my van! For now I love working at my coworking space in Greensboro, NC. It has such a fun creative vibe it really helps to get me in the right mindset.
Okay, and our absolute favorite question: What is your #1 piece of advice to aspiring Bucketlist Bombshells?
Every day do one thing that gets you closer to your goals. That women that you see in the far off distance that you so badly want to become? YOU ARE HER. SO BE HER. What would she do today? Do that! Be that! That woman you see started at the beginning so start today!
